Lunde warranty
Qualifying Lunde Flooring products include limited wear and structure coverage against manufacturing defects, including warping, cracking, delaminating, and wear-through under normal approved use.
Coverage by wear layer
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase and depends on the wear layer of the flooring you choose.
Visible manufacturing defects must be reported before the flooring is installed.
What is covered
Coverage includes qualifying warping, cracking, delaminating, and defects from improper milling, grading, staining, or coating.
The plank wear layer is warranted not to wear through under normal use for the applicable warranty period.
Surface spills are covered when water does not travel over room edges, cut boards, or other openings into the subfloor.
Approved claims are resolved with new materials of similar grade for repair or replacement of affected areas.
Important limits
These limits are the part most customers need before they buy, install, or file a claim.

Whoever installs it
To maintain your warranty, follow these manufacturer requirements.
Use transition moldings at exterior doors and thresholds.
Maintain a minimum 1/4″ expansion gap around all walls and fixed objects.
Ensure the subfloor is flat within 3/16″ over an 8-foot span.
Acclimate flooring onsite for at least 48 hours in a climate-controlled environment.
Do not install cabinets or other permanent fixtures on top of the floating floor.
Over concrete subfloors, install a 6 mil moisture barrier.
Do not install over existing hardwood flooring.
Do not glue planks except where specifically required for stair treads or transition pieces.
Do not install additional underlayment unless specifically approved by the manufacturer, as doing so may void the warranty and damage the locking system.
Failure to follow these installation requirements may result in product failure and may void the manufacturer's warranty.

Coverage depends on who installs your floor, and how.
To maintain coverage under the Lunde Flooring Limited Warranty, flooring must be installed by a properly licensed California contractor holding a current and active CSLB license with the appropriate classification for flooring installation, including a C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering Contractor license where applicable. The installer must maintain all bonding, insurance, and other requirements required by California law.
Installation must comply with Lunde Flooring's published installation instructions and applicable industry standards. Lunde Flooring may require proof of installation and the installer's CSLB license number when processing a warranty claim. Damage or failure resulting from improper installation, installation by an improperly licensed contractor, improper subfloor preparation, moisture conditions, or failure to follow Lunde Flooring installation requirements is not covered under this warranty.
